ICT Baseline Standards
Our Baseline ICT Standards ensure that all students develop the essential digital skills needed to support their daily learning and thrive in the future. Students will acquire these core competencies through structured ICT lessons tailored to their level:

Code for Fun & AI for Fun
Aligned with Singapore’s Smart Nation 2.0 vision, our upper primary digital enrichment programmes are designed to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in a tech-driven world. Jointly conducted by MOE and IMDA, these courses offer progressive, hands-on learning from Primary 5 to Primary 6:
P5 Code for Fun (10 Hours): Focuses on building core computational thinking and coding concepts through visual programming, alongside early exposure to Cybersecurity and AI.
P6 AI for Fun (5 Hours): Focuses on AI with Smart Robots, offering students hands-on experience in programming intelligent robots and understanding real-world AI applications.
Captain UnITrone
In our continuous effort to advocate CW, our very own CW Mascot was launched on 14 Feb 22. The CW Mascot named Captain UnITrone (yoU aNd I Together Respect Online Navigation & Etiquette), together with our CW Student Ambassadors and all students of UPS, will champion the school’s efforts in promoting and advocating good netiquette and appropriate online behaviour at all times.

Cyber Wellness (CW) Programme
In UPS, our Cyber Wellness (CW) programme, guided by MOE CW Framework, focuses on developing students’ instincts to protect and empower themselves to be responsible for their own well-being in cyberspace.
